Hi everyone. Here's a quick update to let you know how things are going.
Writing
Our writer is now currently working on preparing Rose's route, which is the final route. Once the dialogue is finished and approved, we should be good!
Artwork
All of Iris's CGs are now sketched out, the first of which is already done (save for a few minor adjustments). There will be a couple of amends to some backgrounds as well, including additional evening versions of the girls' bedrooms.
Development
As for me, I'm now about 80% done programming Lily's route, and once that's done and tested I can begin developing Iris's route. I also need to add a few more food images into the common route.
Other
Samantha (Iris's VA) has been sent the CG lines as well as a couple of additional voice markers to record, hopefully, these will be ready before the end of the month.
That's it from me - thanks for your continued patience, it's been a tough time but we're getting closer every day. We all appreciate you sticking with us!
Early Access In August
We are planning to release the Beta Access version of Bistro Days at the End of August. The Early Access version will be accessible for backers who have included Early Access in their awards.
The Early Access will include the entirety of Lily's route, which means you get to experience Lily's story within a month's time! What a great time to be a Lily fan!
We'll keep you update on when it's available. There will be instructions on how to access the Early Beta as well.

Hello and welcome to another update! This time, we are diversifying slightly and bringing you a series of Q&As with the cast of Bistro Days. We kick off with Molly Zhang, the voice of Lily.
Q: Hello Molly! How are you enjoying your role as Lily in Bistro Days?
A: Hello, hello! I'm having a blast with her, I think Lily is probably one of the cutest characters I've had the privilege of voicing, pigtails & pink is a lethal combo!
Q: How does Lily compare to previous roles?
A: She's a very happy, upbeat character that requires a higher pitch than my usual voice. A lot of times while I'm recording I'll use hand gestures to get the energy rolling.
Q: What is your favourite thing about your character in the game?
A: Her scenes are all very positive and cheerful. I think it's impossible to voice this character if you aren't smiling as you read the lines! Plus I juggle a lot of gachas and I think Lily does too, haha!
Q: How do you prepare for your voice acting roles?
A: The core of preparation comes from how much the studio/dev is able to share with us, the voice actors. If I'm able to see the character art and learn about the story, it'll be very helpful when delivering lines. If it's anime though, I'll usually listen to the Japanese VO to get a baseline reference before trying my own spin.
Q: How has it been working for us so far?
A: I think the team is awesome and we have a wonderful working relationship. Michael has been beyond generous when it comes to accommodating busy schedules and deadlines!
Q: Do you have any final words?
A: It's just blasphemous to not adore Lily, so please love Lily once the game is released! Hope everyone stays safe and drinks lots of water!
